Social Content

The brief.

The brief.

Cronies is a family-owned sports bar with five locations across Ventura County. The people behind the business are a big part of its character, and its social presence needed a strategy that felt like Cronies, not a generic restaurant account.

The challenge was expanding visibility and reaching new audiences while staying true to the brand. Cronies wanted its social media to support real business goals: more exposure, more opportunities for people to discover its locations, and a stronger reason to consider a visit.

Our brief was to align social content with that sports-bar identity and the priorities of a multi-location, family-owned business. The aim was to build a recognizable presence that could grow its audience without losing the personality and community connection at the heart of the brand.

Local character. A wider audience.

Local character. A wider audience.

The strategy centered on matching Cronies’ social presence to its branding and business goals, with content direction grounded in its identity as a family-owned sports bar. The priority was not simply to post more, but to help the brand become more visible and connect with audiences beyond its existing following.

We created a recurring content concept called “POV you work at Cronies,” following staff through their shifts and documenting their day-to-day interactions for social media. The series puts the people behind the sports bar at the center of the story, giving audiences a behind-the-scenes look at the personalities and moments that make Cronies feel like Cronies.

In the first two months working together, Cronies recorded 547,500 views and reached 140,132 accounts, with accounts reached up 129.2%. The account also generated 12,200 interactions; the analytics attributed 2.2% of those interactions to ads. It gained 636 new followers, with the report showing 4.0% follower growth.

Together, these figures show momentum across visibility, interaction, and audience growth. For a business seeking new exposure across Ventura County, that gave more people an opportunity to discover Cronies and engage with the brand. Bringing in new business remained the broader objective; these results document the social performance supporting that goal.
